Located on the grounds of Saint John the Baptist Church in Fairview New Jersey, the Franciscan Community Development Center of Fairview is a non-denominational, Christian-Based, Pro-life organization based on the Gospel principles of love, understanding, compassion and repentance. The Center will be inclusive and respectful of all faith traditions, and will not discriminate against anyone on the basis or religion or any other basis.

The Center's mission is a gallant endeavor to provide a wide range of educational, organizing, and advocacy programs along with health, social and legal services. Inclusive and respectful of all faith traditions we will provide upon request interfaith-based spiritual support. Our programs are designed to address and alleviate the many issues of poverty and disenfranchisement that control the lives of the vulnerable populations, the poor, the underprivileged, the immigrants and, senior populations of the people of Bergen County.

The primary focus of this unique mission is to improve quality of life, social and economic well being of these at risks populations. The Center will pioneer, organize and facilitate the self-development and mobilization of the integration of these programs in a manner that reflects wellness, fairness and justice to all.

While building a better community, we will strive for the empowerment of all people through equality, fair employment, education and job skill training, specific to the goal of achieving complete economic self-sufficiency.
We are humbled to be able to engage in an opportunity to feed and nourish the hungry and to enhance the quality of life and dignity of each human being as individuals but with specific needs.

The Franciscan Community Development Center of Fairview will now have the opportunity to collaborate and intensify the services to all those in need.  We will strengthen our philosophies and embrace our commitment by creating a stronger, healthier and more sustainable community with a profound sense of equality in sharing and caring for God's most chosen people.
