WHAT IS VITA:

VITA is an IRS-sponsored program that prioritizes the highest accuracy of tax filing. VITA sites offer a free, reliable and safe tax preparation program.

 

WHAT VITA SERVICES DO WE PROVIDE?

Our 2022 Tax Year VITA SERVICES are either a DROP OFF or a convenient VIRTUAL service.

OUR  2022 Tax Year VITA SERVICES:
DROP OFF SERVICE:
A Drop-Off service, BY APPOINTMENT ONLY has been implemented to provide a SAFE alternative to the traditional face-to-face site model. All you have to do is drop off your tax documents at our Site.​
Your tax return will be completed, quality reviewed and e-filed.  You will be part of the process from start to finish. We will e-file your federal and state returns. Once everything is completed you will either retrieve or pick-up a hard copy of your return.
VIRTUAL VITA:    
As part of the Virtual VITA process you will gather your ALL tax documents and , once you have completed  the intake (13614) an appointment will be scheduled with one of our intake specialists.  Your tax return will be completed, quality reviewed and e-filed by all certified IRS VITA Volunteers. Be assured, you will be part of the process from start to finish. Once everything is completed you will either retrieve or pick-up a hard copy of your return. We will e-file your federal and state returns. 
 

What will I need ?

  • Intake Form (13614)

  • Wages: (W-2)

  • Retirement income: (1099-R)

  • Social Security benefits: (SSA-1099, RRB-1099)

  • Unemployment income: (1099-G)

  • Self-employment income: (1099-MISC)

  • Tuition statement: (1098-T, 1098-E) 

  • Real estate tax payment 

  • Letter 6419, 2021 Total Advance Child Tax Credit Payments 

  • Personal business expenses

  • Health insurance: (1095-A,B or C )

  • LAST YEAR'S TAX RETURN

How much time will the process take?

Please give yourself at least 30 minutes to complete the intake form depending on your comfort with technology.

Appointments may take up to 2 hours.

1. Complete the online intake form 13614 .

-Call for an appointment and additional instructions.

2. Certified VITA  volunteers will preparer and quality review with you your Return.

What will I need for my phone appointment? REFER TO  OUR

All relevant tax forms and receipts for 2021 as well as your Social Security card, your spouse, and any dependents. If you think you’ll receive a refund, please have your bank account information on hand.

When are appointments being offered?

From FEBRUARY 1st to April 14th:

Monday-Fridays: 3:00pm-6:00pm

*Saturday: 10am-1pm

Closed April 7, 8 & 9th
